Anna Silk was the first child of Peter Silk (an academic) and Ilkay Silk (a actress, playwright director, producer, and teacher in St. Thomas University). Her father comes from Britain, while her mother is the "Turkish Cypriot-English expat." Anna's early memories involve attending rehearsals for plays as well as watching her mother's her job.
