Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy is a 16-year old American who was who was born in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor was a former banker. Jennifer Marina Joy worked as a psychotherapist. His father is an Argentine with Scottish as well as English roots. Her mother is Spanish and English heritage. Taylor-Joy was born into a clan with six kids. Four are her siblings from the previous marriage to Taylor's dad. The family lived at Buenos Aires until she was six years old, and then moved to the Victoria part of London. Taylor Joy stated that moving from Buenos aires to Victoria was difficult, and she didn't take the time to learn English in hopes of going again to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she needed to go to after she left Northlands. Later, she enrolled in Queen's Gate School to study ballet and act in the school's productions. At 16, she left school in order to explore acting as a profession. Taylor-Joy's ambition to become an actor began at a young, age. Sarah Doukas of Storm Management was the first one to hire her as an experienced model.
